inbetween days

actually i feel like we are inbetween seasons.  but here are a couple of things i am playing with. 
buddha hand fruit and meyer lemons from the farmers market

red fleshed apples from our guy named fred from santa cruz

Oh my goodness! I like your blog but I just saw the Buddha fruit and it made me cry out. It reminded me of something from a nightmare. I was completely taken by surprise. Now I have to google it. I have to learn the real truth of what it is or I won't be able to sleep. I have heard of the fruit but never seen it. Thanks for sharing, I think.

sorry to frighten you. it is an crazy fruit. i wish i could see the tree with those growing on it. but don't be alarmed. the flavor and scent is amazing.
